Prior to joining McDonough Law LLC, Callie was an extern with the Environmental and Natural Resources Department of the Department of Justice in Denver. In that position, she participated in civil litigation and enforcement proceedings. Callie gained extensive legal experience as an intern with the University of Wyoming College of Law’s Energy, Environmental and Natural Resources Clinic. One highlight of this position was a 50-state survey she drafted related to their Economically Needed Diversity Options for Wyoming (ENDOW) Program. The ENDOW program was initiated by Wyoming Governor Mead to assist with diversifying the state’s economy. Callie’s survey was submitted to the council appointed to make recommendations for the ENDOW program. Her other work experiences in law school included a summer clerkship with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and Public Lands Council in Washington, D.C. and a mediation program internship with the Wyoming Department of Agriculture.

Callie earned her law degree from University of Wyoming College of Law and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Fort Hays State University in Agricultural Business. She also holds an Associate of Science degree from Laramie County Community College in Agricultural Business.

She grew up in southeastern Colorado. She was raised in a ranching family and has a deep connection with the rural communities of Colorado and Wyoming. Callie stays active in the community through volunteer engagements including membership in the United Way of Albany County. In 2017, she ran a campaign for delivery of animal supplies to the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas. Her efforts resulted in over $6,000 being raised in one week to buy small and large animal supplies to be donated to a shelter in Port Lavaca, Texas.
